Prayer Requests

Please pray for Julie Quinlan’s sister and Jan Rowe’s daughter Jana Hawkins. She has been hospitalized with a spot on her liver. They did a biopsy this morning. Please pray it’s either a parasite she picked up in China or a benign tumor. Please pray for definitive answers and a complete cure.

Marie Cooper’s mother Mrs. Hattie Moss passed away last week. She was 96 years old. Please pray for Marie and all the family. Cards of sympathy may be sent to Marie at 320 Nassau Lane, Athens, GA 30607.

Service for Mrs. Moss is Wednesday December 18, 2019 at 2pm at Brown Chapel Baptist Church at 1490 Brown Chapel Church Rd Union Point Ga 30669.

Rebecca Mapes sharing about her time last night:

Bill and I helped with Family Promise last night. It was great! We got to spend time with a 9 year old boy who will be famous someday. He was bright, athletic, just pure joy to be around. I mentioned to Steve how much we enjoyed doing this. For us, particularly during the Christmas season, we got more out of serving than those we served. Steve said they still need helpers so share my feelings. So…that is what I am doing!
