Deborah Bennett was taken to the hospital this morning by ambulance. She is having tests done now. Please pray for the doctors to get a clear diagnosis and treatment plan. And pray for God’s peace that passes understanding for Deborah.

There’s still opportunity to sign up for a time slot at the Day Center just to be on site. You can bring a book to read or a device to watch or work to get done.

IT IS GETTING COLD…

AN OPPORTUNITY TO HELP PURCHASE SLEEPING BAGS FOR THE HOMELESS IN ATHENS – COLLECTING TOMORROW BEFORE AND AFTER WORSHIP SERVICE

Carol Pirie will be collecting donations before and after church to purchase sleeping bags for the homeless in Athens for the City of Hope to distribute. They know of the need for 20 bags which cost 10 dollars a piece. I will purchase them asap so they can get them out quickly. Used sleeping bags in good condition will also be appreciated!

Last Chance: United Marriage Class

We currently do not have enough participants in the United Marriage class. This Sunday will be your last chance to sign-up for the United Marriage Class starting in January. Unfortunately, if more couples do not join, then we will have to cancel the class.

Class Description:
God intended for married couples to enjoy very special blessings. Through United , you and your spouse learn how to make your marriage all that God wants it to be. Over nine weeks, this enlightening course takes couples through a series of life lessons in Scripture to explore the spiritual and emotional elements of a lasting, loving relationship.

THREE SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASSES AT 9:30 AM

1. Lessons from Genesis taught by Kindred Howard
2. Wrestling with God: The Practical Pursuit of Spirituality taught by Ron Sawhill
3. Practical Christianity taught by Terry Morrow

Children’s Ministry Worship will meet in the sanctuary at 9:30 AM. Kids will need to be signed into classes before we begin and must be picked up before the main service by their parent or guardian. We are super excited to show our children how much God loves to hear each of our voices and seeing all our fun dance moves.
