Letter of Thanks from Pakistan

Dear Brothers and Sisters at Athens Church of Christ,
Some people make choices to bring joy to the under privileged people in the world. On behalf of all the families and children from all the four churches in Pakistan, I would like to express my sincere thanks for you being those people. Thank you for your generous contribution of 1470 USD$ for the Christmas gifts for the poor and needy families. It was great to see the joy and big smiles on the faces of the widows and older Aunties as they received warm shawls and older Uncles as they received their warm clothes for the winter.  Children were so excited to receive the warm woolen sweaters.
Your donations brought so much joy to more than 300 women, children and older men. Living in a situation where one person works and earns 90 to 100 USD$ a month and lives in a rented house and have to feed the whole family of 5 to 6 people it is difficult. To enjoy Christmas also comes with a lot of problems and borrowing and taking advance from their jobs.
These statistics prove that without your help this would not have been possible for the Pakistan Churches to meet the needs all our brothers and sisters who are in need.
Let us keep up the good work!
Lots of Love,
Shakeel and Poonam
Evangelist / Women Ministry leader
