Brianne Baine will be headed to Texas on Wednesday, June 16. She will be having in utero (fetal) surgery to close a hole in baby Penelope’s spine. Please be praying. Mike will be with her for Wed-Sun. Madison will be taking care of the kids while they are gone. Mike will come back Sunday, June 20. Brianne’s mom will be with her the remaining time in Texas while she has the surgery (up to 3 weeks). Mike will be at home with the kids during this time. Your prayers and meals offered are greatly appreciated.

Jody Lowe is in Seattle and on Thursday she is driving across the country to move her brother and his wife to Athens! They are planning on seeing some sights along the way except she was diagnosed with shingles on Sunday. Please pray for Jody as she is having nerve pain and really wants to enjoy the trip.

Most of you know that Victor has been battling leukemia for almost 7 years. God has graciously carried Victor through having our daughter get married to a brother in His Kingdom, their growing their family with 2 beautiful daughters, adding another granddaughter through our son Kurtis and his wife Mandi, the passing of my mother last year, and this weekend the 50 year mark of our marriage. I thank each and every one of you for all the prayers!!! In 2015, I prayed that God would give us the Best Case Scenario (His plan) at every turn and he has. Today, I’m thanking you for your continued prayers as Victor makes another turn. He’s preparing for a cellular transplant in July. We’re off to Emory this am for a round of chemo, the cancer is raging at the moment but he’s very strong. As we started this journey with the church praying together as one man ( 2 Chronicles 20:5-12 ) on Sept 28, 2014, at 5:00 pm.
I would like to ask that we continue with everyone who reads this, please take a moment to pray this Sunday at 5:00 pm wherever you are. Please pray Victor feels God’s great love through this time. Prayerfully he will be admitted on Friday…..at which time, he will start a 4 day, 24 hour regiment of chemo. Thank you all for loving us through to this day, we feel your love and prayers. Dona Stephenson’s father Ed Beck was moved to a rehabilitation center on Friday and as he recovers from a massive stroke. Please continue to pray for his recovery.
