Felix McCauley had to go back into the hospital. We don’t know any details at this point but please be praying for our brother Felix. Cards for Felix may be sent to Kindred Howard’s home and he will get them to him: 1081 Crossing Ridge, Bogart, GA 30622.

Gwendolyn Payton (and family) in the loss of her husband of 50 years, Dr. Victor Payton. Please pray for Gwendolyn and the family as they gather this weekend to celebrate and memorialize Victor’s life. Cards of sympathy may be sent to 189 Imperial Way, Bogart, GA 30622.

Jonathan Ruhlen’s SVT ablation went well on Wednesday and he is back home resting. Angie is recovering from gallbladder surgery and lingering Covid stuff. Cards may be sent to them at 265 Riverbottom Road, Athens, GA 30606.

Thanks again for all the devotion and effort you have shown as we revive our passion for Jesus’ Great Commission together! Just a reminder that, beginning this Saturday, we will begin talking about how we study the Bible evangelistically with others. FALL FESTIVAL IS OCTOBER 24TH!

EVERYONE IS INVITED!

You are invited to the Athens Church of Christ Fall Festival on Sunday October 24th! While the Fall Festival is sponsored by the Children’s Ministry, we want to invite everyone to come join in the fun and fellowship! We have been studying Ephesians as a church and are excited for this opportunity to spend time together as a family. Church will be a little different…we will have a short devotional and share in communion outside and then spend time together playing games, eating, and bonding. We will have games for people of all ages from relay races to corn hole to football toss.

How can you help?
You can volunteer to help us run a carnival game, serve food, set up or break down. We have purchased the items needed for the games and the prizes and just need your help manning the event during the fall festival.

Carnival games: We have several carnival games already–and ideas for others. If individual families or family groups would like to run a game, we would love to meet with them. We have money in the budget to purchase supplies if needed.
