Prayer Requests & Updates

Teresa Howard had upper spine surgery yesterday and it went very well with no complications. Teresa is being discharged today. Please pray for good pain management during recovery.

Alexa Pursell was rescheduled for back surgery for this Thursday, February 17. Please pray for the surgeons, that surgery goes well and recovery is smooth.

Update on Denny Pyle from Brenda Pyle
Denny is continuing to improve. We were able to have a conversation. He is in sinus rhythm and vent is out. Pray the heart pump can be removed tomorrow. Denny’s surgeon said his recovery is a miracle from a higher power.

Grieving
Gwendolyn Payton’s younger brother, Kenneth Middleton, passed on January 23. Please send cards of sympathy and condolences to The Family of Kenneth Middleton, 3535 Williamson Rd., Apt. 126, Macon, GA.

Lisa Washington’s sister Tracey Sims lost her husband David on January 18. Please pray for Tracey and the family. If you would like to help Tracey with the funeral expenses, reply to this email for more information.

REVIVE – Southeast Campus Retreat Spring 2022

Are you a college student or a senior in high school? Are you looking for a weekend getaway? Look no further! Come and join the Alpha Omega Campus Ministries from ALL over the Southeast for an epic time in the mountains! I’m talking about college students from Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, South Carolina, and North Carolina all joining together for a weekend to be with God, be inspired, make new friendships, and have fun! Come be apart as we look to REVIVE our hearts!

When: February 25-27th
Where: Ridgecrest Conference Center in Asheville NC
Cost: $89.00 per person (includes lodging and all meals on Saturday and breakfast Sunday morning)

ACOC is starting its first softball team. The league is Co-ed and no experience is necessary. So far 11 church members are signed up and 4 more are needed for a full team. The team has a sponsor so the price per person might be reduced.  Games are all on Tuesday evenings. This is a great way to meet others in the community.
