Prayer Requests/Updates

Jeff and Grace Arthur’s twin grand babies, Milo and Finley were hospitalized several days ago with RSV.  Grace is in Michigan to help and support and be near their son and his wife, Stephen and Chelsea, and the other toddler grandson, Leon. This young family is facing so much and Jeff and Grace desperately want for them to feel God’s love and understand the love of the church a little more through this very hard time. Cards of encouragement may be sent to Stephen and Chelsea Arthur, 2723 Slater Drive, Kalamazoo, MI 49004-1616.

Derek Carroll will have neck surgery on November 10th. Please keep Derek in your prayers. Cards may be sent to him at 1111 Timarron Trail, Watkinsville, GA 30677.

Denise Carroll’s cousin Brad Williams has been in the hospital for almost a month and is on a ventilator. He is not doing well and they have now allowed his wife Susie to be with him. Please continue to pray diligently for Brad, Susie and their children.

Ken Lauderdale had great news on Friday. X-rays and MRI’s showed no evidence of cancer per oncologist. Ken still needs our prayers for healing.

It is a newer gravel driveway on the back part of her property that leads straight to the parking lot & firepit.
On some GPS it recognizes the address but the pin is a mile past the driveway, so watch street #’s so you don’t pass it. We’ll have balloons on the street marker sign.

Craig and Heeyoung Rugh are facilitating NAMI Family Support Group on the first Friday of each month. NAMI Family Support Group is a peer-led support group for any adult with a loved one who has experienced symptoms of a mental health condition. You can gain insight from the challenges and successes of others facing similar experiences. This is a virtual meeting and will switch to in-person meeting soon.

The Program will be set up as vignettes so that we can have practices in smaller groups.  We will do most of the practices on Zoom and then a group practice or two just before the program.  We are so excited to be having a program this year and look forward to our practices.
 
Ms. Seyoung Holte will be our playwright and director and will be assisted by Mr. Lee Sugarman.  Ms. Rebecca Mapes will be the communications person and costume coordinator.
