Honoring College Graduates

Sunday, December 12th

Please let us know if you are graduating so we can make sure to honor you!
Just reply to this email. Thank you!

Please take a moment to pause and think what it would be like to not have the blessing of stable housing for Thanksgiving, Christmas, or the New Year.  We have an opportunity to meet the needs of one family of 8 this holiday season.  Our last week of volunteering this year for Family Promise of Athens begins Sunday evening December 12th.  Would you have a couple of hours to be available onsite during the day, or bring a meal, or a flexible evening to spend the night?  Please visit the Sign Up Genius link to view specifics and the various ways to help.  Thank you so much for your time and please don’t hesitate to email or text or call with ANY questions!

Am here to say thank you to the church of Athens for giving us this opportunity to serve here in Ethiopia. It has been good and a learning environment especially for me. I can’t thank Athens church enough for this opportunity am so grateful. Ethiopia has taught me to practice Christ’s love which is easier said than done. I thank God for the strength in those nearly 3 years that I have been here.  It was worth being here for the wisdom and knowledge I have received from Berhanu and Zoe. I can’t exchange with anything else plus that deep love from disciples here is incredible.  Thank you guys. Please pass my gratitude to Athens church. One day I will visit.
Love you all,

Request from Mollie Mostert for Disciples in Pakistan
The last day to donate is this Sunday, December 5th

The disciples in Pakistan are extremely poor- much more than I know how to describe. They are unable to buy Christmas gifts for their children. The only way they get any Christmas gifts is from the donations I send. There are 150 children in the four churches there. My goal is for each child to have a $10 gift. That is nothing to us, but HUGE for them. Any amount you can give will be deeply appreciated. Checks can be made out to South Asia Mission Society and are tax deductible.
Many thanks,

Mollie will have Christmas wreaths for sale tomorrow at church. All proceeds will go towards Christmas gifts for Pakistani Christmas gifts.
