Prayer Requests

From Denise Carroll last night:
Please pray for my cousin, Susie and her husband, Brad. They both have Covid but he just had to be taken to the ER for falling O2 levels.
Update this morning: Brad Williams has been admitted to the hospital.

Anthony Alford will be having cornea transplant surgery on his left eye on Monday, October 11th. Please pray that surgery goes well and for his recovery. Cards may be sent to Anthony at 1481 Ashland Drive, Statham, GA 30666.

Mollie Mostert has been having swelling in her feet and legs. She went to ER this past week and they ruled out blood clots thankfully. She will have a procedure done on Thursday at Emory to block a vein in her left leg. Please pray that the procedure stops the swelling. Cards may be sent to Mollie at 245 Holmes Avenue, Athens, GA 30606.

Gwendolyn Payton (and family) in the loss of her husband of 50 years, Dr. Victor Payton. Please pray for Gwendolyn and the family.  Cards of sympathy may be sent to 189 Imperial Way, Bogart, GA 30622. Meal Train link if you are able to show support to Gwendolyn and the family through providing a meal: https://mealtrain.com/yvlngl

Thank you all so much for the prayers, cards, texts, emails and calls during both of our battles with Covid.  Over a month later since testing positive, we are beginning to improve daily.  “Joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer” (Romans 12:12) became our ardent desire.  What we learned from this time of isolation and away from the body could hopefully prepare us for the “patient endurance and faithfulness” as Revelation 13:10b says will be necessary in days to come.  Much love, Eddie and Helen Hyman
