Prayer Request Updates

Andrea DeLorenzo will be having chemotherapy weekly (all the way until May 24th). The first week has proven to be rough on her. Please continue to keep her in your prayers that the negative effects lessen as the weeks go on. The family is very thankful and appreciative for all the meals. If you are able to provide a home cooked meal, GrubHub, or gift card, this will alleviate some stress for the DeLorenzo family. Here is the link: https://mealtrain.com/0onmwv
Cards of love and encouragement may be sent to Andrea at 1244 Alcovy Ridge Drive, Loganville, GA 30052.

Kristine Garcia’s sister Karen passed recently and she also lost her father just last year (she couldn’t be with either of them or her family in the Philippines). Please keep Kristine in your prayers as she deals with so much loss and pray for her to have wisdom on how to care for her mother. Cards of love and support may be sent to Kristine at 1230 Travis Drive, Watkinsville, GA 30677.

Nancy Goodwin’s mom Doris LaGravinese passed last Friday. Please continue to keep Nancy and the family in your prayers. Cards of love and support may be sent to Nancy and the family at 132 Oakmont Circle, Winterville, GA 30683.

Update on Ken Lauderdale from Lina Lauderdale:
Thank you so much for your prayers and support!! He is doing great, a real chemo Warrior. He has made it through 2 sessions with 10 more to go. They give him steroids and anti-nausea drugs with the infusion. The steroids wear off after a couple of days and then he winds down like the Energizer bunny. We are really impressed with University Cancer and Blood Center ( where Judy Webb works). He is cheerful and a non complaining patient. Must be all those prayers!
Cards of love and encouragement may be sent to Ken at 75 Old Edwards Road, Arnoldsville, GA 30619.

Ludlow Lawson‘s surgery went well. Continue to pray for his recovery. Cards may be sent to him at 137 Ashbrook Drive, Athens, GA 30605.

Lark Schroeder is gradually getting back to normal and is still healing but all is going well. She will not need chemo or radiation. Lark is so thankful to you all for your support and prayers!

Please continue to pray for Gwen Payton’s youngest sister, Regina, disciple in the Macon church.

Dana Chacon’s mother Betty Snodgrass was discharged from the hospital on Monday and is in a nursing/rehabilitation facility. Pray for her recovery and for her to gain the strength she needs to get back to being independent. Cards of encouragement may be sent to her at The Manor at Carpenters, 1001 Carpenters Way, Lakeland, FL 33809.

Update on Jeanette Thibodeau from her daughter Jill:
Jeanette is in a rehab facility but has developed pneumonia and no appetite. Please pray for her to be able to eat and respond quickly to her treatments! Thank you! Cards can be sent to my address 125 Nicoles Nook, Tyrone, GA 30290 and I will bring them to her or Concordia Nursing Home,110 Brandywine Blvd, Fayetteville, GA 30214.
