Prayer Request Update

Thank you for all your prayers and support. Because of just getting out of the hospital and still recovering from pneumonia, the doctors have thought it best to reschedule my surgery for January 4th.

CONFERENCE IS THIS SATURDAY AT 10 AM!

The STRONGER Virtual Conference is a one-day Global Conference, scheduled for October 24th, starting at 10 am ET. It is intended to help meet the needs of the moment. The breakout sessions will tackle topics that may not always be easy to discuss, as seen through the lens of Christianity and the Bible. While we don’t expect to solve the world’s problems in one day, it is our hope and prayer that you as an attendee will leave feeling better equipped, encouraged, and hopeful. Topics include mental health, politics, purity, professional coaching, homosexuality/same-sex attraction, and recovery.

Registration for the whole day is only $15 per device until the day of the conference. Recordings of all the classes will eventually be available to all those who register.

HOUSE CHURCH SUNDAY

SUNDAY, OCTOBER 25TH

Don’t forget that this Sunday, October 25, we will be meeting in HOUSE CHURCHES! Check with your Family Group Leaders to make sure you are aware of details regarding when and where your house church is meeting.

WHAT IF YOU DON’T HAVE OR CAN’T MEET WITH YOUR HOUSE CHURCH?
For those of you who are new and/or don’t yet have a family group, or who for some reason cannot meet with your normal family group, YOU ARE INVITED to meet for a special Sunday morning Devotional and time of fellowship with Kindred at the Athens Church of Christ building starting at 11am (outdoors if weather allows). Please text or call Kindred at (404)202-2969 to confirm you are coming!
(Kindred is looking for a family group, or possibly two, that might be interested in meeting at the church and helping him host this event. Contact Kindred if you and your group are interested)

WHAT ABOUT ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASSES?
For those of you actively engaged in one of our adult Sunday School classes, check with your teachers to determine if class is being held this Sunday and any relevant details.

WHAT ABOUT CONTRIBUTION?
Obviously, since we are not meeting in person as a whole body, we will not be taking up contribution in person this Sunday. Please plan to give this week online. Simply go to the website (www.athenscoc.com), click on give and follow the prompts.
