Update on Victor Payton from Gwen
Platelets rebounded and he’s approved to move forward. We may be here another 8 hours with additional transfusions but he’s doing well…. no pain!! Thanks for prayers. 

Update on Amanda Cohen from Rebecca Mapes
Wanted to give an update and ask for prayers for Amanda Cohen, my great niece and Rachele Gibson and Bill Mapes ‘ cousin. She is 20 years old and hospitalized in Pittsburgh. Her heart has enlarged so much and was beating uncontrollably due to lack of oxygen that they had no choice but to put her on an ECMO machine yesterday. She had the best of the best surgeons and they have kept her on anesthesia overnight. She is on continuous dialysis as well as she awaits a double lung transplant. She is critical. Please pray for her. We know that for her to live some other family must face the terrible loss. A difficult time. Thank you. 
Update today: She is awake and communicating with a white board. Very encouraging.

From Berhanu Wari last week, the evangelist we support in Addis Ababa:

There have been 2 more baptisms, one a man over 60 who is a friend of the couple who were converted by their children who are in university in San Antonio (note:  they were the ones on the video we showed for Missions Sunday in May).  His wife is now studying and we feel she will be baptized soon.  The second is a man in his 40’s who lives 3 hours south of Addis in Shone who found the church on Facebook.  These are in addition to another man who lives 3 hours to the west close to Sudan.

Please pray for the church in Addis and for Ethiopia, as there is fighting in Tigray province to the north.
