Prayer Request Updates

Lisa Sawhill‘s surgery went well yesterday. Please pray for her as she recovers and for complete healing in her foot. Cards may be sent to Lisa at 2960 Flat Rock Road, Watkinsville, GA 30677.

Mollie Mostert is back home from the hospital and is improving daily. It appears that falling out of her chair was a blessing. Had she not gone to the hospital, the bacterial  pneumonia would have gone undiagnosed and would have continued to worsen. The fall may have saved her life. God has more for her do yet! We love you Mollie! Cards may be sent to her at 245 Holmes Avenue, Athens, GA 30606.

Tomorrow we will meet for an outdoor worship service at 11 am on the church grounds. It may be a bit chillier than previous services so come prepared. There will be a time for “open mic sharing” if you have something you would like to share that would be edifying to the family…i.e. how God is moving in your life, a poem, an anchor scripture, your conversion story, etc.

Please wear a mask and remember to social distance. Bring your own chair or blanket. All-in-one communion cups will be provided.

This service will be live streamed online starting at 11 am for those of you that cannot be with us. You will be missed!

TOM AND DEBBIE KULCSAR MOVING TO LAKE HARTWELL

Dear Church Family,
Don’t you think these pictures say it all? Our lake house, our grandkids and our new journey together in Hartwell, GA.  We will miss the Athens Church of Christ, but God has already shown us that He has amazing plans for us on our next adventure. Y’all have an invite to come visit us!
