Prayer Request Update 

Update on Denny Pyle from Brenda
Denny continues to slowly improve in the ICU. Still no food or drink. He will have dialysis today. Pray he will be able to eat and drink soon. He is able with help to sit in the recliner. Pray for his body to get stronger.

March 7th is Denny’s birthday. Cards would be very encouraging and may be sent to 525 Jackson Terrace, Jefferson, GA 30549.

As a supporter and financial contributor to Ethiopia, the Athens Church of Christ is a member of the Africa Missions Association (AMA) and as such occupies two seats on the AMA Board of Directors; one seat being held by Lee Redd; the other seat is currently vacant.

If you are interested in representing our church and supporting the work in Africa with your voice and input, please contact Lee Redd at 470-331-1590 or leeredd59@gmail.com for information regarding responsibilities and time commitment.

March 25-27 – Mother Son Retreat 

ALL MIDDLE SCHOOL PARENTS… 
are invited to lunch at the Howards’ home on Sunday, March 13th about 45 minutes after service for lunch and to discuss the middle school ministry after Adam steps down in May. Invite is for all middle school parents and those who will be next school year. 
Children are welcome! Please RSVP to this email with the number attending for lunch.

                                
                                          A Time for Two

Join us for the Athens Church of Christ 2022 Marriage Retreat entitled “A Time For Two” held Friday and Saturday, March 18-19 at the beautiful Amicalola Falls Lodge and devote some time to your most valuable earthly relationship.

Saturday Breakfast 7:00-9:00 am

The retreat begins Friday evening at 7:30. There will be live music, dancing, and desserts. There will be two Saturday morning sessions with guest speakers Joseph and Lisa Washington and Randy and Theresa Scott from Gainesville, Florida. The Washingtons will be speaking to couples who have been married less than 25 years The Scotts will be speaking to couples married over 25 years.

What is included: Lodging for 1 night, breakfast and lunch on Saturday.
