Continued Prayers Needed

Please continue to pray for Lauren Minter (the son of Larry and Linda Minter) who is hospitalized with Covid.

Sunday service starts at 10:30 am with adult Sunday school online classes preceding the service. We will be meeting in person at the building and the service will be live streamed on the church website (athenscoc.com) and our Facebook page.

ANNOUNCEMENT FROM LEADERSHIP

DUE TO THE RECENT RISE IN COVID CASES INVOLVING THE DELTA VARIANT OF THE VIRUS, THE LEADERSHIP OF THE ATHENS CHURCH OF CHRIST IS ASKING ALL DISCIPLES AND THOSE VISITING TO WEAR MASKS DURING ALL INDOOR GATHERINGS. 

PLEASE REMEMBER THAT, FOR SOME WITH SPECIFIC HEALTH CONCERNS, OUR WILLINGNESS TO PLAY OUR PERSONAL PART TO LOVE AND PROTECT THEM BY WEARING MASKS MEANS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THEM BEING ABLE TO ATTEND GATHERINGS OF THE BODY OR FEELING THAT THEY HAVE TO STAY HOME. 

THANK YOU IN ADVANCE FOR PLACING THE NEEDS OF OUR BROTHERS AND SISTERS ABOVE YOURSELF (PHIL 2:1-4) AND SUPPORTING US IN THIS EFFORT. IT TRULY REFLECTS THE HEART OF JESUS AND MEANS A LOT!
