Prayer Requests

Pat Snow was diagnosed with cancer and will be undergoing a hysterectomy today at 2:30 pm. Pray the surgery goes well, that the cancer hasn’t spread and for complete healing. And pray for our brother Vance, Pat’s husband. Cards may be sent to 1260 Nona Drive, Athens, GA 30606.

Billy and Ann Lunceford are former members of our congregation. They were baptized and married here years ago, and live in Sugar Hill. Billy died earlier this week, and the memorial service will be held this Sunday, November 21 at 2:00 pm at the chapel at Lord and Stephens West. Please pray for Ann and for their daughter, Lydia.  An address for cards will be provided soon.

This Sunday we will have a  PRAISE & THANKSGIVING WORSHIP SERVICE! As time allows, any brother or sister who wishes will have an opportunity to share for a few moments with the church what they are thankful to God for or simply to offer a prayer of thanksgiving to God. This is a great time to encourage one another by sharing why we are thankful for each other as well. PLEASE COME PREPARED TO SHARE FOR A FEW MOMENTS ON SUNDAY.
