Prayer Request Update

Please continue to pray for our sister Deborah Bennett who was baptized in June. She is gravely ill with pneumonia and dead small bowel. She cannot have surgery due to her pneumonia. She is in MICU at Piedmont in Room #4525. Her cell phone number is 706-338-3799 if you would like to let her know you are praying for her or want to send her an encouraging scripture. Please pray that she can be kept comfortable with pain management and be filled with the peace only God can give.
Praises and Prayers

From Shari McDonald:
I have two praises I would like to share: (1) My son is recovering from his pressure wounds and four surgeries miraculously in own home now after almost seven months in the VA hospital. Praise God!!
(2) My daughter who is estranged from her
father and me, but still keeps in touch somewhat with my son is with him this Christmas. He has asked for prayers that she will be positively influenced by him and his wife and that she will come back to God. This is a praise in the fact that she’s with her brother since she hasn’t been with family in years.
I need prayers for myself in in regard to two matters: (1) Prayers please for a successful surgery for knee replacement on 1/6/20. (2) Need prayers for an unspoken need. I don’t know how to word it.
Thank you! And Merry Christmas to everyone!!

Help Two Boys with Clothes and Shoes

From Amy Mock:
I have 2 cousins (10 and 14 years old) who I might be taking in soon to care for. One of their parents is in prison and the other ran off six months ago without a word. I’m looking for clothes and shoes for them. I’ll be looking at thrift stores too.
Karson is 14 and wears men’s medium tops, 32×32 jeans and size12 men’s shoes.
Dalton is 10 and wears husky boys large or XL and size 8 men’s shoes.

There will be a table in front of the kitchen at the Candlelight Christmas Eve Service tomorrow night for collecting items for Karson and Dalton. We know this is short notice, but if you have things at home that you can bring tomorrow night it would be so appreciated.

Come join us for our Family Candlelight Christmas Eve Service at 5:30 pm.
No childcare will be provided. Children are welcome in the service!

Ask your family group leader for details.

Family Group Leaders: Matt Baker will be at the church building on Sunday from 2-2:30 pm to collect contribution from your house churches. Please bring the money in a sealed envelope.
