COVID 19 PROTOCOLS:
Based on the latest information from the Georgia Dept. of Health, we are revising our Covid 19/mask protocol as follows. Please know that we will be reviewing our protocols every few weeks as things continue to change and progress.
Updated Guidance from The Elders: For gatherings of any size inside the building where 3 feet of distance cannot be maintained, masks are required for those ages 2 and up who are not fully vaccinated. Please keep taking all precautions until you are fully vaccinated or if you choose not to get vaccinated. From the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention via the Georgia Department of Public Health:
“If you are fully vaccinated, you can resume activities without wearing a mask or physically distancing. In general, people are considered fully vaccinated:
· 2 weeks after their second dose in a 2-dose series, such as the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines, or
· 2 weeks after a single-dose vaccine, such as Johnson & Johnson’s Janssen vaccine
If you don’t meet these requirements, regardless of your age, you are not fully vaccinated. Also. if you have a condition or are taking medications that weaken your immune system, you may not be fully protected even if you are fully vaccinated. Talk to your healthcare provider. Even after vaccination, you may need to continue taking all precautions.”
