Above is HOPEworldwide’s latest video (“Loaves and Fishes” campaign for COVID-19 Relief) describing the immense food insecurity experienced by our brothers and sisters around the globe.
During these difficult times, we may be restricted in many ways, but we are not powerless. Our prayers and acts of kindness matter. We have an incredible opportunity to provide basic food and supplies during this crisis.
Here is the link to sign up for volunteer opportunities (http://bit.ly/FPApril). You will note this includes a link to a new online training video for new volunteers that has been developed by Family Promise National.
Please feel free to pass this invitation on to local friends, family, or coworkers and do not hesitate to email, text, or call Steve Gibson with any questions. Thank you so much! email@example.com, 706-351-3092
THERAPY MATERIALS NEEDED!
Dear Brothers and Sisters,
I work at Dream Catcher Pediatric Therapy Services as a speech therapist. Our precious families of children with special needs are struggling to become teachers and therapists all at once as they transition from being caregivers (which is plenty hard enough) to doing all school and therapies with their children. Our clinic, with help from Butterfly Dreams Farm Therapeutic Riding Program and donations from the community, is putting together at home therapy kits to support patients as they work on their therapy goals at home! We are looking for:
Children’s books (pre school – elementary age)
Craft material (felt, googly eyes, pom poms, paper, markers, paint, brushes, etc)
Educational toys (knob puzzles, imaginary play items, etc)
Anything to use for “prizes” (lightly used/like new small toys/animals/cars./)
We are happy to do porch pick up locally, or you can drop off at the clinic in our donation box located outside. Please reach out if you have any questions!
Thank you for your support and have a blessed and beautiful day!
