Spring Blood Drive

Snowstorms, ice and arctic temperatures forced the cancellation of about 300 American Red Cross Blood Drives in 22 states in February, resulting in more than 9,700 uncollected blood and platelet donations.
Fact: Everyday 38,000 units of blood are needed in our country. A person needs blood roughly every 2 seconds.
